What was the client's brief?
We were asked to create a new rear extension in place of the existing conservatory at the property. The existing conservatory was a very closed off space and the flow of the ground floor was complicated creating a small kitchen. We were asked to make a large kitchen looking out onto the garden whilst fixing the internal flow problems downstairs.
What did we do?
We designed a low pitched extension opening up the floor plan to create a large kitchen below two large roof lights creating an incredibly well lit room. The design continues on the brick work of the existing building framing the new windows and doors within the rendered wall and a zinc roof finishes the design creating an extension that blends with the existing building yet looks a new addition.
