Lovely little project in Somerset for a growing family who wanted to be as involved in the design and build of the project as possible. With limited funds and space it has been a challenging project to make the most of the available space. We have worked closely with the clients to transform their home from a small two bedroom house into a modest three bedroom home by utilising their once unusable loft space into a master bedroom with views onto the Somerset countryside.
With restrictions on head height within the existing loft, we have had the opportunity to explore some new building technology to ensure the success of the project. It's been a great project to be involved with lovely clients and a fantastic builder who has created some high quality work whilst also balancing the clients wish to self build areas of the project.
